The short list:

I’m Katie.

I’m 29, but refuse to believe I’m any older than mid-twenties because I’m scared of entering cougar territory.  Just humor me, ok?

I went all my life without cavaties.  And then turned 26 and had 7.

I think my dentist might be a quack.  I think this because of the aforementioned cavity tragedy of 2009.

I’ve always gone for the bad boys, and done snagged myself one.  And I like to tell people I tamed the wild child.  We’re getting We got married in December, 2010.

I also have a little bit of an obsession with shoes.  My ultrasound pictures show the outline of stilettos.  Animal print ones.

(Sorry Mom – that must not have been a comfortable 9 months.)

I’m an English major extraordinaire, which means I have no room in  my life for math problems.  I don’t care how fast Train A is moving towards Train B before they meet because I’m more concerned about the fact nobody is worried about these locomotives crashing.  Why didn’t we hire more experienced conductors?

I think everybody looks better with a smile. (I’m looking at you Posh Spice.  You’re married to David Beckham, grrl.  Crack a freakin’ smile about it).

  1. Katie – i’m so glad I came across your blog by accident. I love your writing style. very refreshing and your sense of humor comes across beautifully. Looking forward to reading more of your “stories”. I’m a transplanted northerner in FL and I understand your reasoning for going home. It’s much harder to fall in love with the sunshine state than people might think:)

I really enjoy reading your blog, Katie, and your funny posts about Fox. I nominated you for the Liebster Award and wish you the very best as the little guy continues to grow and despite how impossible it sounds, get cuter each time you post pictures of him.
